Pi CRM uses typeahead fields so you can quickly find information and reduce data entry errors.   With PI CRM  a typeahead field can be identified where a magnify glass is to the right of the field like below.

To search from the begging of the field start tying, or to search with in a field start with typing a %.

For example if you were looking for an ‘assigned to’ person of David Gareth you could start typing ‘dav’ or ‘%gar’
